This stunning piece of jewelry features an authentic Roman silver denarius coin from the Roman Republic period, minted in 103 B.C.  The obverse side of the coin depicts Mars, the Roman god of war and guardian of agriculture. The reverse side shows two warriors fighting, one protecting a fallen comrade.

This unique designer quality hand-made ring has a hammered finish and is enhanced by two genuine cabachon rubies.  It is hand-made in solid 14kt yellow gold. The ring measures 19mm across (penny size), not counting the side rubies. The ring is a size 7 1/2. Total weight is 14.2 grams, including the coin.
