This ancient Roman Republic silver denarius coin is well centered and features Pegasus spring from inscribed tablet. This coin features the portrait of Mutinus Titinus, a marriage phallic diety, equated with Priapus. During preliminary marriage rites, Roman brides are supposed to have straddled the phallus of Mutinus to prepare themselves for intercourse. The reverse side features Pegasus. The pendant is hand-made in solid 18kt yellow gold. The pendant measures 1 1/8" tall x 3/4" wide, and weighs 7.9 grams.
