Well centered and "CAESAR" is incredibly bold and 100% visible

You are viewing an outstanding example of the rare and famous silver denarius of Julius Caesar, who died on the ides of March, 44 B.C.  A bankers  mark is visible on the rear of the elephant.  

Obverse:  CAESAR, elephant trampling serpent

Reverse:   Pontifical implements (simpulum, aspergillum, axe, and apex)

Denomination:  Silver Denarius

Weight:  4.02 grams
