Silver Drachm minted in Larissa, the most important town in the Thessaly region of ancient Greece, an area known for it's fine horses. Obverse side features the nymph Larissa. The reverse side depicts a horse grazing. NGC has graded this coin as Choice Very Fine with outstanding strike 5/5 and excellent surface 4/5. The horse is nearly perfectly centered, 98% visible, with just the end of the tail going off the edge. The 3/4 portarit of Larissa is slightly off center. (See photos)
